There's a brown recluse with a body the side of my thumb living in my right wing mirror. He comes out at night and builds spider webs all over my car, which as you can imagine stick REALLY WELL to the plastidip paint.
I'm not scared of spiders, but a brown recluse that big is a bit disconcerting. I'll hope he makes an appearance after classes and I can send him to his maker with a stick.
EDIT: Turns out it's an Orb Weaver. Brown Recluses are the ones that have invaded my house. Hrm.

Spray some WD-40 into the mirror crack and light a match. Problem solved.

Not sure that's particularly healthy for the motors in there.

if that car was mine I would literally throw a for sale sign at it and be out. Maybe a for free sign...

Chemical warfare is authorized. Eliminate target with extreme prejudice.

Than don't light it and let the fumes get him, another option is Raid, but make sure it doesn't effect your paint first.
Spiders breath through their bodies so if you soak them in something toxic they will die.

I think I'll skip class today… no need for me to be on campus… *shudders*

Motors can be replaced. Spiders need to die.

Luckily for everyone at WSU I didn't park on campus. You're all safe, unless you live in Varsity Villa.

brown recluse in a side mirror? Hmmmm that doesn't seem like their M.O. Sure it's not an orb weaver or a wolf spider/grass spider? Either way, murder it with chemicals.

Either you have a small thumb, or a radioactively mutated spider. Length of brown recluse body is up to 12 mm (smaller than a dime).
Also, would not build webs on outside of car, would stick to corners and more protected areas.

Huh, my car has had a web going from the passenger side mirror to the door every day for the past week or so. It blows off as soon as I get up to speed, but it seems that I have a really determined spider living in my side mirror. Since I don't have to get in that side, I guess I'm not too worried about it. I'll wash the car at some point, hopefully that'll rinse him out.
